One House to go please! Modular Architecture.
I have seen some of the works of the A-Cero architecture studio and was left very amazed for it is genuinely avant-garde. Their houses seem to be out of this world, a science fiction countenance of extreme lines. One of their last projects of these Spanish architects is particularly attractive: the A-cero Modular homes.
Modular homes are sometimes not very good looking (some of them are build out of containers, others just follow a regular and base house design), but in this case, the result is a stylish product.
The modular architecture project developed by A-cero is based on the guidelines of industrialized construction. The principles of Henry Ford’s standardization techniques are implemented, the ones that interest us the most are: technology, quality control, and a short time scale. These houses (with two or three rooms) can be built in only 15 weeks. The price? 69,000 € for a house with 82 m2 and 90,000 for the one with 107m2. There is also another option: to have the houses fully equipped for 85,000€ or 110,000 €. Since this project was created to bring quality homes with modern design not only to an “economic or cultural elite”, mortgage loans are also available.
